As a former journalist, I developed a deep interest in communication as a field, particularly science communication, which ultimately led me to pursue a PhD. My background in journalism gave me firsthand insight into how complex ideas reach the public, and that curiosity now drives my doctoral research.
I study how artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies shape public understanding, relational life, and trust in institutions.
My research focuses on:
AI companionship and relational media
Public perceptions of science and expertise
Communication inequalities in digital environments
